Just looking for reviews and opinions of the Mini-Bow tanks. I'm thinking of getting one sometime in the future.

when you say mini bow do you mean like a bowfront tank?

if so i have a bowfront and quite like it there a bit more expensive and they tend to magnify the fish only a tiny tiny bit on mine but on some tanks it can magnify them a lot more. It depends on personal taste really.

its funny but also a bit sad that they say this///

housing two bettas together increases coloration; divider prevents aggression)

I've had mine for about 4 years now, no complaints. One thing I noticed though, is you can't fill it all the way full. It tends to leak out of the rim a bit. This isn't an issue for me, since I have a Betta, but it's just something to note. Overall, I've liked it. :good:

My co-worker has this tank on her desk. She has a single dwarf gourami in it. She used to have guppies but they were mixed sex and kept having babies and eating them and she couldn't deal with that.

Tried more than the one gourami but he was too agressive for more fish. Remember, it's only about 3 gallons US or so (less if you consider the gravel, decorations etc inside the water), and if a dwarf gourami or male beta is about 2 inches that means you really can't put more fish in it without the fish feeling cramped and getting territorial.

But her aquarium is so beautiful it's what convinced me to set up my new 50 gallon at home. I liked the way hers looks so much.

I think there's three different sizes, a 2.5g, a 5g and a 7g. For those of you who've had a Minibow, does this light fit into all three sizes?

Been thinking of getting one to place on top of a cabinet, just a nice little tank. If that mini compact light fits, it certainly extends the possibilities.
