Min Tank Size

What would the minimum tank size be for:

1 oscar
1 JD
3-5 firemouths or other smaller cichlid

w/ good filtration and good water changes

provided you are running 2 fluval fx5 canisters for mech filtration, and an eheim 2227 canister and a 90 gal sump for biological filtration, and are preforming water changes 4 times a week, and have hundreds of dollars worth of driftwood, and rocks to create territories for all these fish. not to mention you get lucky enough to end up with a stock of the 6 large ca cichlids you mentioned that for some reason are all tame and do not kill eachother... sure its "possible"

There is a chance that will work in 125, But there is also a Risk it won't work in a 200G

Personally I'd say No one should EVER try mixing all of those in one tank until they full understand what each species is capable of and have a backup plan for when things start to go wrong.

If your new to the hobby then it is best just to stick to one or two similar species from the list above
