may seem a daft question but I want to rescape my tank

I;ve read bout people using milliput to secure rock in certain scapes etc? if i use this on my rock in the tank which is already set up will it have any effects on the water quality and does it dry,set whilst in the water?

cheers simon

i believe it does i normally use reff epoxy its like playdo but sets rock hard so has to broke to get off and can be used in or out of water

Work it out of the water as much as possible and leave it to firm up a bit before using it under water, it's safe to use but you probably don't want all the dusty naff that comes off in your water.
I've used it a fair bit and not had any problems.
