Thought I'd start a thread here

I have been keeping Marines this time round for 6 years and fish for over 40

This is about my 4th attempt at Marines - got my first marine tank in 1971

My current tank is 52" * 24" * 19"

The Lighting is 2 T5's

It has a 36" * 18" *18" sump

The filtration is live rock

Circulation is provided by a Tunze 6100

The return pump from the sump is an Ocean Runner 3500

In my sump I have an Aqua Medic Turboflotor 5000 Shorty Skimmer

The sump also contains a mixture of Chaeto & Caulerpa lit 24/7 by an Envirolite and my latest gadget - an Algae shrubber

The tank has gone through many phases over the 6 years but it now has a few tough soft corals plus my main love my Fish

you can see some of my pictures here http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...=0#entry2378618

I will try and get some decent full tank pictures tonight

Thanks

It used to look better but it has gone through a bad patch but it is definitely improving again

Yeah - I'm quite pleased with it

I used to have a rock wall but I think this is better

Here is a picture from 3 years ago - lots more corals then but I think I prefer the way it looks now

IMHO it looked tatty-ish before =/ i don't know if its just me being a very aesthetic person, but your tank now looks amazing. I love the ledges and depth in it.

I had it from a small juvenile to an Adult then sold it

Fairly easy to keep but did better with cleaner shrimps about

Having looked at those photos, you have definately evolved the aquascape for the better. Is it me or did you change the background colour too.
No same background - just a bit cleaner at the moment and a better camera :)
