Migrating Featherduster

My feather duster moved from oneside of my tank to the other and is still "wandering" about. Is this normal? I put him in a little bit of a current but he still moves around. I dont think anything is moving him. There is no current moving him the way he's going.

Mine has done exactly the same thing, it has moved from the front of the tank to the middle and secured itself under the LR, I tried to move it back but it wasn't having any of it so I've just left it to get on with it now
