A shubunkin is a single tailed fish, that pic is a calico oranda/fantail :)

and? what you put up is a calico fantail or young oranda and nowhere does it say shubunkin on your link. A shubunkin is a calico goldfish not a fantail.

Marked like the Calico Shubunkins, however they have a divided tail.

there is such a thing as cross breeding a shubumkin crossed with a calico will produce a % of young that have both traits ie the calico marking and the fantail shape in the world of fish anything is possible the fish in my first pic is not a young oranda as the fish is 2 years old

so what do you call a black moor crossed with a comet ?

a black comet ? a comet moor?
the name i gave the fish is close enough its a calico shubumkin crossed with a fantail ergo calico shubumkin with a fantail

If i do build a pond i shall consult an expert :p

Oh and IF its a cross between a shubunkin and a fantail then its still a calico fantail.
But if you want to split hairs and call a fantail a shubuNkin then fill yer boots bribones. :D

shubuNkin ?

is that a fish crossed with a small loaf ?

consult an expert

theres no such thing in the world of fish and ponds everyone is always learning

im no expert but i come pretty close due to the fact that its my job as well as my hobby :p

You need to check your link again bribones, it says its a calico fantail with shubunkin colouring.
another one to me i think :) Not that i am counting.

calico fantails marked LIKE calico shubunkin. If you want to buy one they are marked as calico fantail.
I'm done with this, talk to the hand bribones.
