i might do marine tank

i have a trigon 350 350L

how much will it cost toget it into a full marine ?

ect

how hard is it realy to do?

how much are good fish?

it can cost as much as you want. when the MRS and i were pricing up for a brand new marine tanks ect we got prices of 800 or so quid. for the full set up, tank sump, metal halides LR aswell as salt and an RO system

I'd love to help you out Dan, but I can only list dollars, not pounds . I can say that my tank has probably cost me in the neighborhood of $1000 to this point and its smaller than yours. Take that for what its worth

well i would love to do it but im only 15

only got a paper round wot i get £17.68 a week which isnt going to pay for it


so sadly not now but i may be back to this forum in a couple more years time

Well, if price is prohibitive, when you're ready come back and we'll be waiting. With enough research and learning its not that difficult of a hobby to master and its greatly rewarding IMO.

You could always do a pico tank. Pico tank are reefs 5 gallon and under, thus much less expenses. Be aware though that picos are not reccomended for SW newbs, they are very difficult to keep parameters stable. Plus you would need a source of RO water or distilled.
