Been reading all the post on breeding Corys,
because mine laid a few eggs.

Keep running across microworms as food.

What is it and where can you buy it?

Thanks

Micro worms are .... smal worms.. you get a culture and breed them in tubs then add a little to your tank to feed fry. they can be found on Ebay

Hi Loughrea :)

They aren't really worms, but nematodes.

They live on yeast and cooked oatmeal and make an excellent food for young corys and other fish. Since they are live, they will remain alive and fresh in the fry tank which is safer for the tiny fry. Unlike LiquiFry they will not begin to breed bacteria until they have died, and you can clean them out an replace them during your daily small water change.

They are very tiny creatures that are hard to tell apart while they are on the oatmeal, but will look like dust particles when you add them to the water.

They are easy to cultivate and don't take up much room. Believe me, they sound much worse then they really are. ;)
