the outlet pours into my tank and creates small bubbles wich actually looks good and seems my clowns loves the little waterfall the skimmer makes, can the small bubbles casue harm ?

its a normal venturi skimme, my water is taken in by my external filter pumped into the skimmer and water pours back through the hang on skimmers outlet into the tank..

I meant brands?

setup

tank

lighting, pictures??

Only thing I can suggest is a bubble trap like with a V2 skimmer

A cup of some description with escape holes on bottom and put some sponge in it or at least put sponge in between outlet and tank??

You can see it on my skimmer outlet pipe

One of the myths of marine keepingis that microbubbles are harmful. Ever gone scuba diving and watched the waves crashing over a lagoon reef? Tons of bubbles. No...no harm in your tank. The only negative thing is that the rising bubbles can act like a those in a skimmer and create a film on the water surface. If you have a surface skimmer, then, no problem there either. SH

I think its just the fact they are ugly to the eye is the reason people mention them being bad!

My little nano is really bugging me at the minute, I disturbed it other day and I cant stop micro bubbles and I got scummy surface!

Micro bubbles can be a hazard to both sponges and anemones; they can get stuck inside the creature, causing it to rot from the inside out. This is rare, but something to be considered.
