I keep hearing about people doing this and that about micro bubbles (really tiny bubbles). I put my skimmer in my nano cube and im getting tons of micro bubbles, why are they bad? If they arnt, can I leave the skimmer how it is?

Skimmer size microbubbles are bad for fleshy invertebrates and corals. They can get under the skin of these organisms and cause embolisms in the flesh... Not good ;)

has any body got any pics of the micro bubbles as i am concerned a little also and just wanted to make sure my tank if fine so..

No problem with microbubbles....this is one of the marine myths. Everytime a wave crashes over a coral reef, it creates bubbles. The only issue might be with sponges, which most of us don't keep. The only other issue is that it may act like a skimmer and carry some DOS to the surface. Don't fret it. SH

From what I read the bubbles can trap out waterflow in the underneeths of corals and causing things to rot-in-place.

Essentialy the few effects of micro bubbles are 1) It is visualy displeasing 2) You may get pockets of air form within your live rock which you can understand is probably less than ideal and finally 3) As Skifletch rightly mentioned they are detrimental to live sponges because basically they block up the 'pores' of the sponge which it uses to filter thorugh micro and phytoplankton as food. This then essentially causes the sponge to starve and rapid tissue bleaching and then tissue decomposition happens incredibly rapidly and this will foul your water chemistry.
