Meth Blue

iv been told to use some meth blue on my cory eggs to stop fungus
iv got some protozin made by waterlife that treats white spot,fungus,velvet,and costasis will this be just as good as meth blue or will it damage my eggs

god im a numpty sum times there was a number on the box so i rung them they said it was fine to use with eggs :good:
 
Yes I believe any or most anti fungals would be good. I usually use Maroxy by Mardel, but you probably don't have that in the UK. My ignorance of UK meds is why I generalized. If the eggs are not viable then even an antifungal won't keep them indefinantly. But it may give the good ones enough of an edge to make it. It is common for first spawns to have a low percentage of viable eggs. If you see them going bad do your best--maybe tweezers or a razor blade--to get the good ones separated.

well when i got up this morning there was fungus on the bad eggs iv took ure advice and took them off with a razor blade leaving the good eggs on the tank wall the bad eggs had a couple of good ones with them ,so iv put them in a plastic bag floating in my tank with an air stone in there to see if i get a few fry from them not counting on it but u never know
