whats safe.. im still planning on making a DIY chiller out of metal pipings, copper is the best i think but its out of the question because i have shrimps... what other metals are left stainless steel ?

how about plastic pipes ?

aircraft aluminum.. all metal oxidizes eventually but i believe you'd be pretty safe with aluminum

aluminum is a poor conductor, probably just as bad as plastic which you'de be better off using.
