Mental Stress for Betta?

Hey is it ok to have a male betta in his tank, and a female betta in her tank within clear vision of each other? Will it cause too much stress?

It shouldn't cause stress but it will make them want to breed

Good! I'm planning on breeding them in the summer when i have time. They seem to be getting along, the male already started a bubble nest lol.
