I plan on setting up a 120+USg tank in about 2 months when I move into my new house. I want to setup a Mbuna tank. However I have fallen in love with what I am 95% sure is a Melanochromis Chipokae. He's almost all black with the tips of his fins bright yellow. He is maybe 3" in length maybe less. I want to know if I can keep him by himself or maybe with a few tank mates in a 12g tank until I get moved and setup the full blown thing. I just think he is an amazing looking fish and have not been able to find something quite the same looking all over the net. If he won't fit in the 12g then I will have to let him go. :( I will have to redecorate the 12g to suit Mbuna tastes but that should be easy enough. What is everyone's opinion on this? Oh the tank is an Eclipse 12g bowfront. Thanks!

Thanks I don't want to stress, hurt, or make the fish uncomfortable. I just love the look of this fish and he fits in perfectly with my planned tank. I appreciate the quick response. I will verify what type he is before I start planning what fish to put in my Mbuna tank. :D
