I've just added melafix to my 20 litre tank but i'm not sure if i've added enough or too much  as the instructions are based on american us gallons :/ .

How long do i have to wait to see results of the treatment working?

Melafix is normally very good, u should see results after 3-4 days depending on what disease u are treating!

yep my betta's fins healed in about three days with melafix :D so it is very fast for damage repair.

You would need to add about half a teaspoon of melafix a day for your tank, that's aboiut 36 drops :D

Hi ya

I swear by melafix after trying a number of medicines. I see benefits after a few days too. The only thing i have noticed is that when i've used it my pim pictus's have lost there colour and gone very pale, almost as though they've been bleached by it. I didn't notice this until i brought a new one with real dark markings and then used it again later. I was told to use it when my first pictus had a wound that needed help heeling. Has anyone notice this when they've used it? Or am im just being silly thinking it's the Melafix thats done this!! -_-

Thank you guys you've been sooooo much help with all the advice, my guppy is looking abit better though.

Is it really important to keep an airstone running while using Melafix because it reduces the oxygen level in the water?

Thanks my guppy tail is starting to heal the colour is looking so much brighter, not soo raggy looking and she seems to be less stressed.

Thanks guys
