Melafix question

Hello,

I am using this in a 1 gallon hospital tank to treat fin rot. The Dosage, as far as I can tell, is half a ml for 1 gallon. The directions also say to give him this dose everyday for 7 days and then do a 25% water change. That’s confusing. Do I do the 25% water change everyday after the dose? That makes no sense. Do I do the 25% at the end of the 7 days? That means the little tank has 7 doses of medicine in it! That doesn’t make sense either. Any help?

i have used melafix before and left the tank without a water change for 7 days and it did no harm to the fish.
the dosage depends on the strength of the melafix. you need to be sure you have the right dosage as an overdose can harm the fish.
