Meet Peeps

I have eight chinchillas. This is Peeps. Her mom and dad passed away when she was just one week old. She weighed 39 grams which is underweight. A good size is 60 grams. So this was tough.

She had to be fed every 2 hours night and day and weighed every day. Peeps had to be with me constantly because they can easily die if not close to you all the time. It was hard hard work but worth every second of missed sleep.

Now she is my biggest chinchilla weighing 750 grams. I just love her so much it’s incredible. I’m sure she thinks I’m her real mom. She is very spoiled.

there cute but how do you keep all 8 chinchillas and all of your other pets and on top of all that you feed them every two hours day and night you must be exausted!

Thanks! Well I didn’t need to feed all, just one named Peeps because her mom passed away when she was a week old. That was five years ago. I was so exhausted, it was like I was a walking zombie. But once that alarm when off I hated to but then I saw this cute little bundle of but it’s put a smile on my face and worth it all.
