Meds In A Spawn Tank

can you use meds in a spawn tank? i set up a new tank the other day and have my CT male and my delta girl in there, i noticed earlier that the CT has a tinny amount of fungus on his side, so i gave him treatment for it, he seems otherwise fine and the female is dead keen on him and has barred up nicely. ive heard some breeders use anti fungal tratments in breeding tanks to prevent the eggs being attacked by fungus.

also, i thought IAL had anti fungal properties, so how come he has fungus when the tank has a large IAL in there, and in another tank there is fungus on an IAL itself..??

just treat the tank with the anti fungus, leave her in the trap until youve treated , not a good idea to spawn whilst they are being treated, the IAL has been in there too long if its got fungus growing on there, IAL works as long as you put the right amount in the tank, i gave up using IAL as ive had better results from not using it tbh
