Hello, my user id was deleted for some reason? Just noticed it today, re-registered with the same id - did a MOD delete me?
Anyway to the actual topic, I had recently populated my first fish tank with 4 platies. 2 male & 2 females.
about 2 weeks ago I noticed that one of the females was always at the bottom (with ragged fins) and the other was always up near the surface (but fins looked fine but were clamped but had some ICH - it died the other day
).
I then watched for about 1 hour after I fed my fish and saw that there is one Male that seems aggressive and will nip the fins of the other fish.
I thought that Platies weren't 'nippy'. But this fish has bothered me since I thought the fish had bad fins/ich due to poor water conditions but it looks like it is through harrasment.
Can anyone suggest a way to stop this fish from being so agro?
