Mbu Puffer

got a mbu puffer fish he is about 4 inchs long including tail. had him for 3 months now. all has been good,hes been fed on live shrimp,cockles in the shell,winkles,blood worm and chopped muscles. he has not been earing for a while so i decided to get him some live shrimp. put them in the tank,he chases them around alot but when he gets to them he opens his mouth goes for the shrimp but it is more like he is kissing it. ive not seen him eat for about 5 days now,but tonight i put some frozen blood worm in,it sank to the bottom,he went over to it nidged it with his mouth,took a bit of it then straight away he was shaking a bit from side to side as if it is uncomfortable for him to eat. do they have problems with teeth? his teeth are not large at all,infact you can not see his teeth cause they are so small. he just seams no to be comfortable???
