I don't know if this post should be here but forgive me if it is in the wrong place. Does someone know the maximum LENGTH (I don't care about height) that Discus and Angelfish reach? This forum has never let me down, don't stop here... ;)

Well Discus...around 15cm however known to be 20cm depends what type because heckel grown up to 20cm while the greens are mainly 15cm ;) / Angelfish...15cm occasionally larger ;)

thnx kos, btw i like your new avatar.

And while im on the subject, anyone know the pH, Water Temperature and good diet for these fish?

Well discus are extremely hard to keep however...

Angels: Deep, with tall plants and non calcareour rocks i.e. pref bogwood Excellent water Soft, acid water IMPORTANT temp 75-84 deg F (24-29C)

Discus: Large planted aqaurium with open swimming area. And rocks should be noncalcareous, water soft - acid (bogwood will achieve good water for discus)water 79-86 deg f (26-30 deg C)

and also, what is bogwood?

ok,tnx. almost everytime i query a question your the first to answer!

Well simply bogwood makes the water softer/acidic and the calcareour rocks make it alkaline and harder ;)
