Ok so ive heard alot of people saying different things.. To clear it up for everyone... what is the maximum breeding age of a betta?

It is prety subjective. I like to breed within 4-12 months. Some breed poorly early, some later. Some never get it, some can be bred late into their lives - it depends on the fish, and your own desires etc.

Older females with young males generally produce a disproprortionate amount of males - but often older females are big so that is a challenge in itself.
