Once they get about 3cm long they start to breed.

Dont worry about guppies, they will breed in time, Im sure some are born pregnant i have trouble stopping the blighters

to say the truth, i'm not sure but my platty gave birth last week

I think I read somewhere that most are able to mate at around 6 weeks old or so. Mine too seem to come out pregnant.
