Hi all,
New to this blog, noticed how helpful everyone is!
Have a looksee at this for me.

Recently Purchased 2 female molly's, (Had one befor but she passed on.. )

However, one of the mollys was a bit plump and i thought she may be preggaz.
Not unusual coming from the store. The other molly is fine.

I put the new pregaz molly into my breeding tank. (Plastic tub hangin inside of the main tank)
It has been about a week since i got her.

I am worried, she has become even larger. Her scales look like they are goin to burst off her back.
She drags along the bottom of the breeding tank, occasionally waddles around to the top. Noticed she eats very little.

I have noticed some poop, so i don't think she is constipated. Tried feeding some mashed pea. But i don't think she is interested.

Have had a pregaz molly befor, they definetly didn't get this large!

Any ideas?

Temp of tank, 26 degrees C
pH 7.5
Ammonia unsure, Regular water changes though.

Don't think it is my tank, she has come like this from the store.

(i broke my camera and could only use my phone... Its all happening i know.. Sorry for the poor pics)

I'm not sure what that might be, but I certainly don't think she's pregnant. As she is ACTUALLY round. As opposed to squared off as she should be if she was pregnant.

All I can think of is giving her an epson salt bath to try and draw out fluid she's retaining which is causing the bloat.

But I'd hold off on doing that till someone a bit more knowledgable about diseases replies.

I must agree with Curiosity, that does not look like a heavy fish carrying fry, it looks wrong. Have you tried posting in the freshwater emergencies part of the forum yet. People there tend to be better at diseases than we are here.

If she came like that from the store you shouldnt have bought her!!!! she could pass on god knows what to your other fish.
would it be possible for you to take an over head shot?

Her eyes are bulging which leaves me to beleive it could be dropsy. does she look anything like these fish in this link?

be sure to cycle the ank and replace 1/3 water every month as she may have constipation

Try getting her to eat some peas. cut one up into small bits. Its known to help with constipation and internal problems.
