I have breed many fish before and always had some sort of snails in the tanks. But I have never had the need for the larger type of snails. Now that I do have the need and they are mingling around the tanks I have some questions.
1. Will the females lay unfertilized eggs?
2. Do they actually mate or does the female lay the eggs and then the male fertilize them?
^ those two kinda go hand in hand huh
3. How long if eggs are fertile does it take to hatch them out?
4. Can they be moved around (ie taken out of the tank) before they hatch out?
5. What is the best thing to feed to the young if you dont have a algea bloom going on?
6. Is there a web site that gives alot of info on these guys? my searchs have not turned up alot just some brief infos.
7. What are the genetics on these guys, color morphs and what not?
