Marineland Magnum 350 Pro

I have a 55g tank and am considering buying a Marineland Magnum 350 pro canister filter. Does anyone use this filter? Do you like it? Is there something better for the price?

Had the filter and just threw it in the garbage 2 days ago had it for about 6 months the magnum is hard to clean seal is crap, leaks, the shut off valves seem to leak over time. maybe its just my experience but I thought id share it with you.. bought an ehiem 3e and is one of the best makes i think.
