Marineland Magnum 350 Deluxe

I bought a second hand 80gal tank a few days ago. Along with a few HOB filters ( May just chuck those in favour of a bio-wheel ), we got a Marineland Magnum 350 deluxe... Not knowing much about canister filters...I figured this would be the best place to ask my question:

Is this a decent filter? Or should I look into getting a different model?

I don't know much about the Magnum but i do know that marineland make good filters. the penguin and emperor series are great for HOB's and the c series canister filters get nothing but great reviews from everything i've read including my own experience with the c-360. i can't really see marineland making a crummy filter even if it isn't the best on the market.

if i were you i'd use it and if you don't like it buy another. I've been reading you're thread in the oddballs section and you might want to get started as soon as possible so you don't miss some of the fish you're looking to get.
