Well...i finally got my first marine tank - secondhand although everything was as new.
Never again will I look to move a working 77gallon tank!
The two heaters both failed within an hour of each other - I suspect damaged in the move. The two powerheads both turned the tank live - probably due to the way the cable was wrapped round them for transport. The Eheim filter (2327 wet dry thermo filter) refused to prime for ages. A new heater and two powerheads later....
Anyway there she is as a starting point. Only two fish at the minute - a Coral Beauty and a Lemonpeel Angelfish. There were three other fish in the tank which I took to my LFS as a felt they would be too agressive - a Blacktailed Humbug, an Indonesian Damselfish and a Hawkfish.
Ive added two more corals straight away just to get a bit of colour going (the Asparagus Tip and Devils Fingers. There is only so much live rock you can look at......
So what should I do ? Do I need more live rock? What would be good non agressive tank mates?
