Marine Sump Filtraion

In the next couple of months im going to purchase a 6ft by 2ft by 2ft marine tank and keep 50%fish & 50% inverts Im a keen D.I.Y er so I want to make my own 4 ft sump . What Iam after is design ideas from people who have had sucess ypour help will be much appreciated
