What is your prefered Substrate?

I've been looking at many different types but I just can't decide which to buy, So I need some help?

It depends on what you're intending to keep. If you have burrowing animals you'll need more fine sand but if not then chunkier will be fine. Burrowing animals do need some larger pieces to build the burrow.
