Marine Set Up

Hi I want to set up a new marine set-up with my old tank I have found a set of accessories, is this all I would need to set-up a marine tank. Other than a light and heater

I quote (marine fish accessories, I have break up and sale all my tanks and this is what I have left, some parts may need cleaning, but all in good working order, some are new, parts inc;tetratec whisper ap80 air pump in a box, vecton uv 8 tropical marine centre water steriliser,2 used whisper air pumps 400,600,heater,arcadia c3 light unit in box,project pjf 1001 external filter,fluval 4 internal filter,sea skimmer,seastorm sander filter, plus pipes, and other small parts.)

Hi,

Some of the equipment canbe used. The UV filter, how old is the tube? i would recomend getting a new tube as they do lose effiency over a period of months.
The skimmer is fine but the lights might nned changing depending what type of marne tank you wish to keep. The air pump is a bit redundant to be honest, the sand filter will do the job but ntirates become a large issue, 99% of marine tanks these days are completely filtered with liverock.
