Is there any difference in brand when buying salt for the first time and what would be the most reasonable price to pay and from where?

most decent brands of marine salt are pretty much the same.

Can't help you with prices coz I collect my water from the beach, sorry.

Musho what was the point of that reply I was asking if there was any difference between brands It kinda seems a pointless reply!

my reply was simply, dont worry about the difference because they all work fine, each with their pro and con. You said what is the most reasonable price, they are all priced around the same place, and from where is your lfs. Simply put, just get whatever you can put your hands on.

Ok thanks Musho I was hoping there was a cheaper place that sold the salt as I think it is over priced.

I was surprised by the price of the salt I never expected to pay 55 - 60 pounds for 25kg

Guess i should have looked into it a bit more.

im not sure about the kilo things and pounds, but here in america, i get a 5 gallon bucket full of salt (says 20.3 kilos) for about 48 dollars. Its reef crystals.

If the salt is too expensive, look for another store that sells cheaper salt. As long as its marine salt you should be fine.
