Hello all, I have just started a marine tank after 20 years of keeping tropicals, i have live rock and coral sand and am running live rock, rowaphos, rowa carbon and arcadia poly fiter in the 620t original filter system, does anyone else have a similar setup that can advise me on anything, i also have a couple of bristle worms in there i want to catch. i have yet not put any fish or corals in as its only been running for a week but am looking forward to a nice looking reef.
thanks BA :hyper:

You need a test kit. :good:
Would you recomend a good test kit, my local tropicals shop have been testing my water every time i go to them and everything seems to be going fine, just put in a couple of hermit crabs and they've survived :hey:
just got a refractometer from ebay for £20 bargain :good:

I recommend moving you to the marine section, where this little topic belongs.

We also are thinking of converting our tropical 620t to marine was this difficult ba. :)
Not difficult at all really, live rock and live sand main tank then live rock, rowaphos, rowa carbon and arcadia polyfilter and polywool in the original filter system, "BUT BE WARNED" if you are thinking of keeping corals it can be difficalt to get enough light to the bottom of the tank enough for good growth with original light unit, i have since moved all my reef to a juwel 180 because of this reason as i want loads of coral but if you are still thinking of it i have two marine sunlight bulbs (18watt)for a 620t for sale on preloved, (can i say that)  anyway good luck hope it all goes as well as mine went.
