found a nice bit of marine driftwood the other day.
Providing I follow the boiling soaking scrubbing advice in postings below can I put it my tropical freshwater tank or is it too risky?
Anybody tried it?

Cann't see a problem with that m8 - so long as it has a good time soaking/boiling

Now getting it to sink  - that may be the problem lol ;) ...

sharkbait - If you decide to use it, PLEASE!!!!!! let me know how it works out!! I live on an island and use lots of beautiful rocks from the beach (lovely quartz speckled rose granite and such), but have always been chicken to try any driftwood from there. It's not that there's a lack of rivers and lakes around here where I can easily acquire wood, it's just that the driftwood from the ocean is soooo pretty. I'd love to be able to use some.
