Marbling Overnight

I know it probably isn't a large difference to you guys but when I went to bed last night, my marble HM from Erica (I'm still calling him Noob--I NEEED to pick a name for him!) he was mostly shimmery pale with a nice truqoise splash on his butt. This morning he looks like he's been dusted by turqoise! Here are some pics, I'm sorry they're shoddy. (ps, don't mind the tear in his fin, it is healing--just slowly)

He looks almost like he's dirty...like he rolled in turquois mud!

why did he fade in colour then....dont want to be morbid but mine have done that when they died. Breeders dont put colour in them do they?
I am still learning.

This boy is from splashluff/Erica's spawn. The boy is marbling. He actually is picking up color where he was clear. Marbles change color as they mature.

Marbles nearly always get darker.

One of my spawns had fish almost identical to Erica's so I understand that they can change like that. I find it exciting to see what you get next

Wow, fawn, that's a giant change!

Yeah, I can't wait to see what this guy is going to turn out to be--I have the feeling that this is only the beginning...I half expected him to be solid this morning!

Update this morning---even more dark. More even coloring of the turquois and some darkening of the other areas...sooooo cool!!!

sukie I'm real EZ for marbles too. I have one who used to be kinda red and turquiose and now he's dark blue...some days and then some red in there and turquiose after he first wakes up in the morning. You've got a beautiful one there.
