Hi,

I just recently got 5 marble hatchets for my 10 gallon tank. I originally got the tank to be a species tank for ADFs but I've always liked the look of hatchetfish, and so I decided to give them a try. They are great - very active (especially at feeding time) and they remind me of little aquatic pelicans. :p

Anyway, I am thinking of adding something more in a month or so. I really like the ADFs and also gouramis, but they are pretty much out of the question what with the strong current in the tank. What I would like is a small (keeping in mind that it is only a 10g), peaceful, colorful fish that does not mind a heavy current (another South American species would be a plus).

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Hi there, you could have pair of Apistogramma, a small school of corys and a school of tetra. A few plants white sand and some driftwood and you have a nice little tank.
