Maracyn 2 How To Use

I need to use maracyn 2 in my tank but how do i use it do i just drop the tabs in the water or do i crush it first, please reply asap

They dissolve faster if you crush them, which you will have to do if the tank is under 5 gallons anyway or you'll be seriously overdosing.

it's a 17 gallon tank so it will be fine thanks for the quick answer

If you ever need to medicate for a smaller tank, I've found that it's really easy to use a pill cutter from a drugstore to cut meds in 1/2 or in 1/4.

They also make it in powder form now, I've discovered. Comes in nice little foil packets that contain the equivalent of one tab in powder. Great for dosing small tanks, as you can just empty 1/4th the packet or however much you need, then fold it closed to save for later
