Hey there,

A bit of background info - I've moved out of my house in Bradford, and I'm now located in Milton Keynes. My house just won't sell due to the current market, so my Dad has been looking after my fish, but he's due to retire to Spain soon.

This leaves me with two options - I either trust I'll get a tennant soon who will look after the fish, or I find a buyer who is willing to come catch them all so that I can get the pond filled in - but I need to see if anyone would be willing before considering this option.

So here I am putting out the feelers. I have sketchy details as I'm not a fish expert. I lived there 6 years and kept the pond in excellent condition - there was one case of a parasite which is now cleared up after proper treatment. There are at least 10 Koi, orange and white. Some are I'd say over 10"long. There's also some gold fish (I think), what looks like bottom feeders, and some squite slim/fast fish - not sure what they're called.

Would there be anyone interested, should I decide to get the pond emtpied? I'm not looking for massive amounts of money, I appreciate some of the Koi are probably worth a fair bit but I'm more interested in getting peace of mind they all find a good home. You would be repsonsible for getting them all out of the pond and taking them away.

I've also considered putting something up on ebay, but not sure I trust it for something as complex as my situation.

Right now I'm gauging interest (with the intent to sell but need to check with estate agent that it's good to go i.e. no prospective tennant about to move in with the fish as part of the deal).

If you can ask your friend to make an offer then that would be better (also I can't find the PM button anywhere! do'h!)

Also can I check he'd be willing to remove all the fish himself? Cheers!
