I cann't believe it! My little balloon molly baby is almost 3 months old! I never had a baby fish live more than 2 months in the past. Mandy was the "daughter" of my sweet Mindy, who sadly died a few months ago. I loved Mindy because her orange was so bright and she had the greatest personality. I promised myself that I would do anything to keep her fry alive and out of the seven fry she delivered, only little Mandy survived. After a couple months in the breeder net, I decided to put her (and a batch of nine guppy fry) into my empty 2.5 gallon. Mandy enjoys the extra space that the breeder net lacked. She's starting to look like her mother, Mindy. Mandy's body is beginning to gain her orange color and her belly already has the balloon shape. Her left eye is black; Mindy had a black-colored eye on the right. I'm so happy she survive this long! Hopefully, she'll grow up to reach adulthood!
