male with female bettas

i recently got a male betta and 3 females which i was told would be ok.1 of the females keeps grabbing on to the males tail with its mouth and follows it round.Is this normal or is the female nasty.

You shouldnt keep them together.One of them will wind up killing the other. You are only supposed to keep them together longer enough to mate.
