it keeps just floating around at the top of the water swimmin round perfect no signs of anything bein wrong with it everytime it gets by the pump it just sticks to it and i have to move it off it seems as if it has no energy at all

Doesn't sound good - healthy fish have no problem keeping away from the pump intake.

What are your current water statistics (ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate), how long has the tank been set up, how was it cycled?
