Male rainbow fish

My male dwarf rainbow fish has a yellow stripe down his nose I'm sure this isn't a sign of anything bad cos it's quite a vivid colour but I was just wondering what it might be. It's recent I only noticed it this morning.

Can anyone shed any light?

No unfortunately I'm not even gonna try cos he moves too fast And you can only see it at a certain angle as the light falls on it. It might be perfectly normal I was just curious

If its a Lacustris/lake Kabuto rainbow fish, then is a male showing off

I don't think it is one of those, it's a praecox rainbow, but maybe all rainbows do it and he's showing off anyway

I have Turquoise Rainbow and he will show his yellow stripe when eating and chasing the female!!!! I like watching him alot.
