Male or Female

I know have set up my tank again and will be adding some betta at the weekend.... So my question is this In a 3gallon how many females could I keep? Do they need different food from the males??
Or I thought about 2panda corys and a male betta??

Here is the tank set up agian the same way(nb the fish in there is no longer in there)

One male or one female I'm afraid its too small to house a community of females.

I'm not sure if there is enough room for cories in there either

no cories they need groups of 3 or moree preferbly 5 or more

Just one either a male or a female.
You need at least 10 gallon for the females.
