Male or Female

Hi,

I was just wondering how can you tell whether fishes are male or female? I have a red tailed shark, tiger barb, golden tiger barb and a green moss barb.

RT sharks are really hard to sex ive never once heard of them even being bred in captivity. Im not sure about the rest sorry

There is no danger of you breeding the rtbs w/o hormone injections, they need approxamately 10,000 gallons of territory before they breed.

So far as the barbs go the fatter rounder ones are useually female.

RT sharks will usually kill each other to if they are in a tank togather. Atleast mine did

I can't agree, it's been done in captivity before. And please don't ask me for proof, since I don't remember were I saw it. It doesn't happen often though.
