Male Or Female

I have 6 Cory trilineatus and 6 Panda Corys.

How do you tell which ones are male or female?

The easiest way to tell the gender of corys is to look at them from the top. The female is usually a bigger fish than the male. She will be wider and longer than he will. Some species are more difficult to tell apart than others, but pandas are easy. You can see what I mean in this picture:

In addition, the males will have smaller and more pointy pectoral fins than the females. Since she uses hers to carry the eggs when she is spawning, they are larger and rounded.
