Male Bn Question

hey all
just quick question
what does it mean wen the males head goes really red?
ive noticed it on albino ones before but ive just noticed it on my brown one
is it always there but just not always noticable?

I'm not sure what it *means* but it's normal. My albino ancistrus always has the red spot and our "piedmont" ancistrus sometimes displays it too.

just wanted to check coz ive seen it on albinos but ot on dark ones before but guess thats just coz of there colour

I think it means they are ready to breed though I haven't seen any solid confirmation on it, only speculation. In any event, it seems to be normal.
