Male Betta

my one male betta isnt swimmin too good, he swims on his side and when hes not swimmin he's layin on his side, anyone know if he is gonna die or not??? or whats wrong with him? I have no idea if he's old or not, he looks pretty old, my friend gave him to me and he didnt have him for very long, but i dunno how long the pet store had him for.

Can you give us a little more information such as what he lives in how often you do water changes, do he have any other symptoms besides the swimming? Has he been eating well up to now? What are you feeding? The more info the better.

well he's in a 15 gal. and i do water changes every 5 days, i feed him blood worms and betta pellets, the only problem i notice is his swimming, he still eats the same as he always did, i just noticed him doing this when i woke up this morning.

maybe he hurt a fin? is there anything sharp in the tank that he could possibly get cut on?

ive already checked him for that, his fins are fine

He's still floating on his side, i think i might move him to a different tank until he gets better, thanx sorrell, i'll take a look at that site
