I am getting a tank 70cm x 30cm x 30cm and considering stocking.

I would like one bristlenose catfish, a school of 7 Rummynose Tetras and a male betta.
Is this possible? Or is it likely the betta would attack the tetras?

Alos would you consider this aquarium fully stocked? Or suggest other fish, thanks

Bettas are usually fine with tetras as they shoal and have streamlined bodies, no lovely long fins to nip. There would only be a problem if your betta had a particularly aggressive personality.

Agreed with the above I have rummy noses in my tank, and my male betta gets on fine with them :)

Here's a good link to consult about Betta compatibility. It was started by a member of this forum and was built up by other members! You may even find some new ideas, lol! Just remember, each Betta has its own personality and may not be accepting of any tank mates what so ever! You can help somewhat by introducing the Betta last to your tank so he may be less territorial! Good luck and have fun :good:

63L is about 15 US gallons isn't it? I think a betta with a school of rummynoses would be fine in there, so long as your betta got along with them. Alternatively, what about some microrasbora, other tetras, rasboras or smaller corys? Khulis? There are several options you could choose from so long as your betta got along with them :good:
