 hi as i have mentioned before i have three bettas (2 females and one male) i would like to put them together, but the females dont seem to be the best of friends, i saw in a previous post that if someone wanted to add another female, they should sit the two next to eachother, well a week has gone by and they still flare at eachother, is all hope gone?

Well betta nature is betta nature they will nip/chase each other for their whole lives... you can try adding the male however monitor him closely because if he's the aggressive type then get him outta there :D

for one thing NEVER EVER put males and females to gether next let the 2 females meet each other in the tank i think they will be too shy to attack but if they do it wont be for long monitor them and if something bad happens separate them.

Well I've always got my males/females together however yes you can try but monitor it. IMO I think you can add males/females together unless the females are overally aggressive then they will attack and kill the male...or if you have one male/female then the female will die. ;)
