I have some Malaysian trumpet snail hitchhikers! I’m not sure, but I think there might be baby snails... I don’t want to commit snail murder, but I also don’t want to overpopulate my tank... I already have too many guppies. How hard is it to not breed for ONE. DAY??? After one week I have THIRTY NEW BABIES! Look at the cuteness of these evil creatures!

I find that snail populations regulate relative to waste in the tank. If snails over populate, you're feeding too much and/or have too much waste accumulating!
( Mulm and Algae and Snails Oh My )
Grow those guppies out and strike a deal at the LFS. Big stores won't be interested, but mom & pop shops often will. Should be able to sell for about 1/3 retail price cash, a bit more in store credit.

I catch and release pest snails into my RES turtle tank. My turtles do not eat as well these day since I cut back on how much food I feed my fish there by reducing the number of pest snails.;)

After a while, you get to realize they are pests to you and you throw the, out in the yard.

I keep a steady supply in all my tanks, but when I do a sand vacuum and I get some sucked up into the bucket, I don’t care when I dump them outside. It’s just part of the life cycle of the tank.
